She’s got the routine down.


Morning workout? Check.


A protein smoothie in an aesthetically pleasing glass? Obviously, check.


An internal debate over whether oat milk is actually healthy? Also, check.


From the outside, she’s the picture of health.


But inside, she’s tired.


  • Tired of tracking, planning, and questioning every bite.

  • Tired of feeling like no matter how disciplined she is, she’s still not getting it “right.”

  • Tired of trying to master the “perfect” way to eat, move, and live only to feel like she’s somehow falling short.


She was me. And if this sounds familiar, know that I’ve been there and that you’re not alone.


In my 18 years in the health and fitness space, I’ve worked with countless women who seem to have it all together but secretly feel stuck in an endless loop of overthinking food, overdoing exercise, and never quite arriving at their goal weight.


The world applauds our discipline, but no one talks about the mental weight it takes to maintain it and the sacrifices to sustain it.

  • The belief that if you just had more willpower, you’d finally crack the code and unlock effortless health.


Meanwhile, no one warns you about the thought process of trying to optimize everything.


Because let’s be honest:


It’s exhausting when every meal feels like a math equation, every workout feels like a test, and the grading system is forever changing as new health trends flow in and out.

Here’s the tricky part: perfection loves to move the finish line.


  • You hit your goal weight, but suddenly, it’s not enough.

  • You stick to the plan but then wonder if it’s the right plan for your hormones.

  • You finally let yourself relax, but then feel guilty for not doing more.


Sound familiar? That’s because the health and fitness world has convinced you that there’s a “perfect” way to do this.
